Former Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has taken a tumble while biscuiting on holiday.
The Labour Party leader posted the epic wipeout on Instagram captioning the video "#chippieonabikkie".
In the video, Hipkins is seen riding a biscuit and as the boat takes a turn he tumbles off, rolling a couple of times in the water.
People flocked to the comments to express their amusement over the clip.
"Being able to not take yourself too serious and 'be human' is a good character trait," one person said.
"So much fun on donuts great to see you enjoying life Chippy," another said.
The video came just hours after former National Party leader Simon Bridges posted to social media that he was in hospital after crashing on an e-scooter.
"This afternoon I hit a bump while I was on an electric scooter. I hurt my face and broke my wrist, but I'm hugely grateful it wasn't worse," he wrote.
Bridges thanked a family member who came to help him and the staff looking after him at Auckland City Hospital.
