Rugby World Cup 2019: Ardie Savea (New Zealand)

  • 04/04/2019

Born: October 14, 1993 in Wellington

Position: Flanker, No.8

Club: Huricanes

Height: 1.88m

Weight: 103kg

Caps: 39

No mater what number jersey he wears, Savea is arguably the most influential forward on the park.

Making his debut for New Zealand in 2015, he has predominantly been used as an impact bench player during his 39-test career.

But his form for the Hurricanes throughout the last two seasons has given the selectors no choice, but to play the talented 25-year-old from whistle to whistle.

Savea is in his prime and has forced them into reassessing their loose forward trio - an absolute weapon for the All Blacks.
