Rugby World Cup 2019: Louis Picamoles (France)

Born: February 5, 1986 in Paris

Position: No.8, flanker and lock forward

Club: Montpellier

Height: 1.92m

Weight: 116kg

Caps: 79

The No.8 is heading to his third Rugby World Cup, but his first as a guaranteed starter for 'Les Bleus'.

A barnstorming ball runner, Picamoles tackles like a truck and is a handy lineout forward.

The 33-year-old has been a regular in the French setup since making his debut in 2008.

Picamoles was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup squad that lost to the All Blacks in the final, although he only appeared in three matches.

A publicised falling out with coach Philippe Saint-Andre in 2014 saw Picamoles miss a year of test rugby, but he has been a regular since the 2015 Six Nations campaign.

One of the best loose forwards in world rugby.
