  • 04/04/2019

Born: January 20, 1988 in Paris

Position: Centre, Wing

Club: Clermont

Height: 1.78m

Weight: 93kg

Caps: 48

The midfielder has 15 tries in 48 tests.

He made his senior international debut for France in a Six Nations game against Italy in February 2012, scoring a try.

He continued this excellent form, scoring in the next match against Scotland, and adding further scores against Ireland and then England, scoring four tries in his first four international matches.

In the 2013 Six Nations, he scored a memorable 70-metre solo try against England at Twickenham from inside the French half, evading several tackles on the way.

Fofana has pedigree against the All Blacks, as the best player during their New Zealand tour 12 months ago.

He is quick, powerful and elusive, and France's go-to player, when they need something special.
