New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern took time out of her busy schedule to attend the All Blacks' captain's run ahead of their Rugby World Cup opener against South Africa.
On Friday, Ms Ardern met the team at Tatsuminomori Seaside Park in Tokyo, where she spoke to players as well as family members of the team.
The All Blacks shared photos of the Prime Minister talking to Sonny Bill Williams and Kieran Read. Ardern's partner Clarke Gayford was also there.
"It was nice having you at training Jacinda," Williams wrote on his Instagram page. "But even better having a yarn with you about having more children."
Earlier in the week Ardern met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, where the pair exchanged jerseys of their respective nations.
Japan opened their tournament with a 30-10 win over Russia.
