Rugby World Cup 2021: Black Ferns perform spine-tingling haka against Australia

Some say it's better than the All Blacks' - and Saturday night's haka performed by the Black Ferns at Eden Park sent goosebumps all over.

Led by captain Ruahei Demant, the Black Ferns performed nothing short of a spine-tingling and emotional haka before the kick-off against Australia.

The Black Ferns captivated a sold-out Eden Park, so full it broke the record for crowd turnout for women's rugby.

The Black Ferns began their title defence in front of the world-record crowd on Saturday night, ending a five-year wait for the Black Ferns to partake in a major tournament.

The standard four years between Rugby World Cups was supplemented by an additional 13-month delay, due to COVID-19.
