Sustainable farming showcased at annual awards

Some of the country's most environmentally conscious farmers and growers will be honoured this week, as they compete to win a prestigious sustainability award.

The Balllance Farm Environment Awards recognise and celebrate good farm practices which promote sustainable land management.

Run by the New Zealand Farm Environment Trust, winners have been selected from each of the 11 regions involved, with a national winner announced at the gala event on Thursday.
