Rural real estate sales in the Waikato region appear to be bucking the national trend, with healthy sales over winter.
Bayleys Waikato General Manager Mark Dawe said the rural market generally slowed over winter, however there had been a dramatic lift of 50 percent on the same time last year in the region.
The sales included dairy farms, grazing and lifestyle blocks.
