Forestry and horticulture land sales tracking well

Pressure on the dairy sector has been cited as one of the reasons behind a drop in farm sales in the last quarter.

Figures from the Real Estate Institute showed there had been a 25 percent drop in farm sales in the three months to June, than for the same period last year.

National director of rural at Bayleys, Duncan Ross told Rural Today's Dominic George that while there was pressure on dairy sales, horticulture, forestry and sheep and beef sales were tracking well.
