Real estate agents from the North Island have dominated the rural section of this year's national real estate industry awards.
The 2019 REINZ Awards for Excellence were held at a gala event in Auckland on Tuesday night and saw 39 awards handed out to agents from different sectors of the industry.
- Farm sales continue to drop, down 25 percent
- Central Otago landowner refusing to sell property for large-scale development
North Island real estate agencies won all the rural awards at the event, including Snow Williams from Bayleys Country in Tauranga who was named Rural Salesperson of the Year.
Chief Executive at REINZ Bindi Norwell said the standard was high.
"Every year we have a significant number of high-calibre entries, many of whom have won their own local or agency awards making for some extremely tough competition," she said.
