Farm accident helps shape top young farmer's view on farm safety

New Zealand's Young Farmer of the Year says his attitude to farm safety has been shaped by a near-tragedy on his family farm.

James Robertson told Magic Talk's Rural Exchange that his father had been kicked by a cow on the family's dairy farm in Waikato.

He said the near-tragedy has helped shaped his attitudes to health and safety, and the importance of stress management for farmers.
