With bleak Spring weather across much of the country, many farmers are bringing orphaned or sick lambs inside to keep warm and dry.

Photos shared on a farming Facebook page, NZ Farming, show most have managed to nab the cosiest spot in the house.

"Ricky the Lamb loved the fire and sleeping on the couch. He's out in the paddock now. Poor lamb thinks he's a dog."
