Bayleys Waikato general manager Mark Dawe said a couple of dairy farms had already sold, after a busy winter period.

"We only really get to selling period, particularly for dairy and grazing, around about now, and leading up to Christmas," he said.

"So to get those couple of so to get those sales in the past few weeks is extremely positive and a good reflection of what is ahead of us. "
