Pre-Christmas global demand driving up lamb, beef prices

The pre-Christmas demand for protein from the UK is contributing to healthy prices for New Zealand farmers.

Heartland Bank head of livestock, Wayne McEntee told Rural Exchange that demand from China also remained high, and lamb and beef were getting good returns.
