Rural contractors under the pump in lead up to Christmas

After wet weather in some parts of the country, many rural contractors are feeling the pressure.

Southland farmer and spokesperson for the Ag Proud farming group, Jason Herrick told Rural Exchange that a lot of contractors have been unable to get their work done, and farmers need to be patient.  

"That means when the sun comes out and the ground dries out everyone is going to want the work done, which puts them under a huge amount of stress," he said.
