Stress-busting surfing programme hits the sweet spot with farmers

A programme which aims to get farmers to take some time away from work by learning how to surf is going from strength to strength as it expands into more regions.

Surfing for Farmers was launched by Gisborne's Stephen Thomson who saw it as a good way to help farmers manage their stress.

It has now been introduced into the Bay of Plenty and Canterbury.

Stephen Thomson talked to Rural Exchange about why the programme is proving a hit.
