China 'slowly unlocking' for NZ agri products - expert

A rural market expert believes the supply of agricultural products into China is slowly improving.

Heartland Bank head of livestock, Wayne McEntee told Rural Exchange while the outbreak had spread some fear in the markets, things looked to be improving.

"China slowly but surely is unlocking which is really good," said McEntee.

"Without a doubt, there will be strong demand from China on the back of the food which has been consumed and the food they need to be replenished."
