Drought keeps demand for feed high on North Island dairy farms

Demand for feed on dairy farms remains high as drought conditions continue in some regions.

Managing director of feed supplier, Nutrinza, Warren Morritt told Rural Exchange the demand was exceptionally strong through March and April.

He said it had eased in some areas as cows were dried off, however Northland and many parts of Waikato were still very short on feed.
