COVID-19 brings out farmers' generosity

Southland farmer Jon Pemberton, chairman of Ag Proud, says the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the generosity of farmers right across the country.

"It's been amazing when you start looking at the numbers," Pemberton told Rural Exchange. "We're talking tonnes, not just kilos. I just think it speaks volumes to the position of where the rural sector is and how genuine they are to see the nation do well."
