'Undersupply' in rural property market good news for sellers

An 'undersupply' of rural properties in Northland is good news for vendors.

Tony Grindle, general manager of Bayleys Northland, says there are plenty of "hungry buyers" out there, which is keeping real estate agents busy.

The interest at this time of year is something not usually seen, Grindle told Rural Today.

"Winter is not our typical time to start promoting property but as the saying goes, we're not hibernating - we're trying to get stock and make the most of these hungry buyers that are in the marketplace."
