Fibre internet bringing 'big city speeds and unlimited data' to rural New Zealand

With more of the country getting access to fibre internet connection, rural towns are finally starting to catch up with their urban counterparts.

Stan Rivett, managing director of internet provider Netspeed, spoke to Rural Today's Dominic George about what more fiber will mean for rural communities.

"A lot of small towns that didn't get fibre are now getting it," he says.

"They'll get big city speeds and unlimited data."
