As all farmers know, quad bike accidents are sadly all too common on farm, for both experienced and inexperienced riders.
One way to reduce the risk if an accident does occur, though, is with a crush protection device (CPD).
CPDs are designed to help prevent riders being pinned under a quad bike if it rolls.
"It may not stop roll-overs but if you do have a roll-over you've got that survival space, which you wouldn't have had without one," Weston Stewart, from Ag-Tech Industries, told Rural Exchange.
