Rural broadband providers have seen a sharp increase in the number of new customers seeking connections recently.
The COVID-19 lockdown played a big hand in that, as well as people relocating to new accommodation since Moving Day a few months ago.
Stan Rivett, managing director of Netspeed, says reliable internet is now more important than ever in rural areas.
"You've got to have a decent connection," he says.
Rivett spoke to Rural Exchange to give his perspective on the state of the industry.
