Livestock market 'pretty solid'

The livestock market is looking "pretty solid at the moment," says Hugh Murchison of Heartland Bank.

Murchison spoke to Rural Exchange to give an update on the market.

He said the situation for mutton, in particular, was looking good for later in the year.

"Some contracts out a bit further are actually looking really positive," he said.

"I think there's some real upward scheduling happening there, further out towards winter."
