Store cattle prices have weakened over the past fortnight as a result of dry conditions and a lack of buyer interest, says Hugh Murchison of Heartland Bank.
Murchison spoke to Rural Exchange to give an update on the livestock market.
He predicted there could also be a lack of buyer interest in the upcoming calf sales, too.
"It's likely to be hard selling in [this] uncertain market, really," he said.
