There have been some 'great strides' made to bridge the urban-rural divide since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, says Conrad Wilkshire of Property Brokers.
Not only have Kiwis appreciated the role our primary industries play in the economy, but more New Zealanders are making the move into the country themselves.
Wilkshire spoke to Rural Today to give an update on the rural property market.
"From a real estate sector perspective we've seen an unprecedented demand for lifestyle [blocks] and people wanting more space," Wilkshire said.
"People want to move out of town to get more space and all the clichés that go with lifestyle living."
