WorkSafe has launched an investigation into a farm death on the West Coast on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to an address near Hari Hari on the Whataroa Highway (State Highway 6) at 2:30pm yesterday.
The person was killed after a tree fell on the digger they were operating, Stuff reported.
WorkSafe said no further comment would be made as the incident was under investigation.
