With some urban investors pulling their money out of rental properties, the dairy and horticulture industries may offer an alternative investment opportunity for them, says Ross Verry, chief executive of Syndex, a private markets investment company.
Verry spoke to Rural Exchange about a number of investment opportunities in sectors relating to "land and food".
"There's structures out there...which give investors more exposure to the land as an asset but less exposure to the operations and the commodity prices," he said.
