Mexican drug lord escapes prison for a second time

A notorious Mexican drug lord has escaped prison for the second time, this time tunnelling out of what is supposedly Mexico's most secure jail and leaving authorities red-faced.

US correspondent Sandy Hughes joined Paul Henry live from Los Angeles.

"His name is El Chapo which in English means a short one," Ms Hughes says. "He certainly isn’t short in stature when it comes to his position in the cartel. He is part of one of the biggest in Mexico dealing with drugs and is said to control all of the points of entry into the US for drugs and this is the second time he has escaped from prison."
