The United Nations Security Council this morning voted on whether a tribunal should be set up to investigate those responsible for the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.

The members also held a minute's silence for the victims.

It's New Zealand's last week as president of the Security Council, and Russia vetoed the move to set up a tribunal.
