Labour is being accused of racism after releasing data suggesting Asian buyers are driving up Auckland's overheated property market.
The leaked figures show around 40 percent of sales over three months went to people with Chinese surnames.
Labour leader Andrew Little joined Paul Henry this morning.
"We got the information and we have verified it. It came from real estate firm and it covers 4000-odd transactions over a three-month period, so it’s a large chunk of the Auckland house sales over this period."
