Two trips to China in one month - are these the actions of a worried man?
Finance Minister Bill English has just returned from another visit to the nation to get a first-hand look at its market amid slowing economic growth.
As part of his trip he's been visiting high-growth inland areas, and meeting with senior counterparts in Beijing.
This morning he joined Paul Henry, where he put the trips down to "circumstances and a long scheduled trip".
He says that he spent much of his time there trying to gauge the economic situation by "talking to a range of people".
"They are very good at organising discussions with their very senior politicians and with people who run their large government organisations, but I also made an effort to speak to New Zealand-related businesses and to try to ease businesses on the ground."
