Woody Allen has stuck with his trend of releasing a film out every year, just releasing mystery drama Irrational Man.
Even at the age of 79, Allen has proved he's still got it with this deeply-dark comedic film.
With a star-studded cast including Jamie Blackley, Joaquin Phoenix, Parker Posey and Emma Stone, the film follows happenings in a small-town college campus Braylin, where philosophy professor Abe Lucas (Phoenix) finds himself in an existential crisis.
3 News entertainment editor Kate Rodger joined Paul Henry this morning to tell him why this film is right up his alley.
Irrational Man opens in New Zealand cinemas July 20.
