Being notified of a convicted sex offender living in your area is every parent's worst nightmare.
And for one west Auckland mum, the news of the new arrival came with a knock at the door by a Corrections officer last night.
Green Bay is family central. Within a couple of hundred metres there are two schools, two kindergartens, three parks and now a sex offender.
For the young mum brave enough to speak to us, this makes the situation even more worrying.
