Joseph Parker: 'I can be a world champion'

Joseph Parker

Kiwi heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker lines up for the 15th fight of his professional career in Invercargill this weekend.

He's unbeaten with 11 of his wins coming by way of knockout; and if he wins again on Saturday he'll move another step closer to a shot at the world title.

Parker's handlers DUCO predict that could happen sometime next year.

So what does the man himself think and are we really in the presence of a future world heavyweight champion?

Parker this morning joined Paul Henry to discuss the upcoming match and there is no doubt in his mind that he will be a world champion.
