A Canadian man and his 40 hand-made marionette puppets are in Christchurch this weekend.
His name is Ronnie Burkett, and he's in New Zealand for the Christchurch Arts Festival.
Burkett not only hand-makes the puppets himself, but he also voices and manipulates each puppet in his Daisy Theatre performance event – an unscripted show that includes variety acts, impromptu monologues, and musical numbers.
