AFL grand final eve just an excuse to drink?

A union secretary who blew the whistle on two fraudsters within her organisation is herself now accused of misusing nearly $1.5 million.

"All three that are implicated in all of this, there must be something wrong with them," says Australia correspondent Jason Morrison.

AFL grand final eve is to become a public holiday, supposedly to prepare for the grand final. 

The day has been described as a chance to spend time with family, friends and loved ones, but Mr Morrison thinks it may be spent drinking.

And lads' magazine Zoo Weekly has been pulled from Coles shelves after a controversial front-page was described as a 'rape manual' and 'porn on training wheels'.
