Chinese interest in Auckland housing has dropped, but the city's largest real estate company insists the market is not slowing down.
Barfoot & Thompson managing director Peter Thompson says last week was their busiest of the year.
"We've seen what's obviously happening in China with the government over there tightening up restrictions on what money can go out of China," he told the Paul Henry programme today.
"We're also about to see some new legislation come in from New Zealand and certainly a little bit unknown yet, but it's not stopping people buying though."
