A staggering one in three Kiwis are affected by cancer every year - you'll almost certainly know someone who has it or has died from it.
Today is Daffodil Day, raising awareness and money for the Cancer Society.
Volunteers will be out in force on the streets today, and among them will be one of our top sportsmen.
