Archie Taylor is an 11-year-old boy. He also loves to sing Opera.
He admits it is not a passion shared by many other 11-year-old boys. His friends are interested in other things, but Archie started singing when he was five.
He has been selected to perform a solo in Tosca in Wellington, which stars renowned tenor Simon O'Neill, and his voice has been described as charming by the director of New Zealand Opera.
There's plenty of opportunity for a career in opera in New Zealand and Archie is working to build a name for himself.
Story went to see the young musician who also had advice for other budding opera singers.
