Samoa has made a major contribution to New Zealand sport over the years. The All Blacks paid tribute by taking a Test there in July and, come January, heavyweight boxer Joe Parker will do the same.
A high percentage of New Zealand boxers who have fought for world titles in the past 25 years are of Samoan decent. The thing is, the people have rarely seen them box in the flesh.
Boxing is big in the homeland of Parker's parents, thanks to the likes of David Tua, Jimmy "Thunder" Peau and Maselino Masoe.
Story got an exclusive tour through Parker's Samoan backyard, where he holidays every year.
