Wellington have cantered into the championship final with a 34-14 win over Otago at Westpac Stadium.
The hosts were in control from the outset, scoring early through Frae Wilson, Marvin Karawana adding one more in the opening half as they went into the interval with a 17-7 advantage.
The one way traffic continued in the second stanza, Ardie Savea and Jonny Bentley adding two more tries to close out the contest.
Wellington will now play Hawke's Bay in the championship final next weekend.
