The Earthquake Recovery Minister's slammed a damning report into the Canterbury rebuild, calling its authors Wellington bureaucrats with little knowledge of Christchurch.
The Treasury report claims deadlines for key anchor projects have been missed, and now look financially unachievable.
Gerry Brownlee says concerns were discussed in June.
"[The] same old report dumped on the table and claiming some degree of authority around it," he told the Paul Henry programme this morning.
"These people servants of the State. They're not elected and they don't make decisions about the go or no-go on projects."
