They were five mates from Otago University who burst onto the New Zealand music scene four years ago.
Today, Six60 are signed to Capitol records and have been living it up in LA.
Story went to meet two-fifths of the band in Wellington to find out what their next move is. We also took them to meet young musicians at Hutt Valley High School who had no idea they were visiting.
It was one generation of musicians inspiring the next and Story was there.
