Auckland's Annual Seafood Festival was just one of many events that kept the city buzzing on anniversary weekend which normally proves to be one of the busiest in the year.
It's a chance for foodies alike to celebrate everything that is seafood, whether you're talking oyster shucking, fish filleting, or simply eating.
So what does one do when an event is on such as this? Send the one person who doesn't like seafood one bit.
We sent our reporter Aziz Al-Sa'afin to check it out and try his hand, or rather, his mouth, at catching oysters.
