NZ Post is getting ready to cut 500 jobs over the next three months.
The cuts will mainly affect managers and specialist in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Council of Trade Unions president Richard Wagstaff joined Paul Henry to discuss the issue.
He says it’s not surprising and because technology is making a lot of jobs irrelevant, it will not be the last time we see this.
