Last weekend’s Hyde St party in Dunedin saw the arrest of eight people, most of whom were trying to get into the party.
Another 50 people were attended to by ambulance staff but compared to other years the gathering was well under control.
Dunedin mayor Dave Cull joined Paul Henry to discuss the event.
