There is huge pressure on Batman V Superman to improve its performance at the global box office this weekend.
It had a strong opening weekend, but the box office takings dropped by 68 percent in week two.
The film has passed US$700 million at the global box office, but it now looks uncertain whether it will reach the US$1 billion that Warner Brothers had been hoping for.
It has made a lot of money, but once you deduct the costs Warner Brothers will not make as big a profit as it had expected.
The studio is now reportedly rethinking its strategy for its upcoming movies.
