From May 31, Wellington's public smoking restrictions will tighten even further.
Smokers will no longer be allowed to light up in Civic Square, Waitangi Park, botanical gardens, bus stops, council housing, council-operated community centres, pools, recreation centres, building entrances and council-owned laneways.
