Hasting bar's humour falls flat, no joke

A sign outside a bar has divided many people into two camps.

Located outside a Hastings bar, some believe it's just a joke and the world has gone PC-mad while others are not laughing.

Women's Refuge does not see the humorous side and believes the joke makes light of domestic violence -- an issue they have to deal with every day.

The board usually has a different joke each week but it seems this week's one has backfired on the bar.
